Over 36 hours in the Big Apple we are inviting you, the best East Coast developer, designer, and entrepreneurial minds to build solutions to customize insurance plans, leverage data from IoT, and help insurance agencies advise those affected by natural disasters.

Judging will have two rounds, each with a live presentation format without slides or pitch decks.
Round 1: Teams are grouped into their challenges and pitch.
Round 2: The top 2 from each challenge pitch in our final round on stage.
Each submission will be scored in each round based on the following criteria with a minimum score of 0 and maximum score of 20 points, with the final score being the average of the judges? scores:
Is the application simple to use and can the team explain it clearly in three sentences or less?
How creative was the team in developing an innovative solution for the challenge?
Did the team create an application that can have a real and valuable impact?
Was the UX/UI intuitive and appealing?
Emile has lead Enterprise Data Architecture design, transformation and migration including big data and analytics integration for top financial institution. Also lead the set up of data quality and governance organizations, programs and corresponding enabling technology solutions.
Colin?s current work focuses on digital transformation within the insurance industry, helping customers move to a customer centric model that builds life-long, profitable relationships.
Ahmed has led several large scale digital and core systems transformation programs for major insurance carriers in North America. He has 10+ years of focused work in IT enabled business transformation programs for Insurance companies.
Aarti has over 12+ years of experience building products, roadmaps and launching high stakes products and user experiences.
